Parent in the gym – why not?

Regular SGC training sessions take place without the presence of parents and other accompanying persons. This rule applies in the long term. The only exceptions are pre-arranged situations or events intended for parents - so it is not a regular or long-term monitoring of training sessions.

The reason is simple. Without their parents, children concentrate better, learn independence, and gradually develop their own relationship with the coach and the training. At the same time, the coaches can fully devote themselves to the children and their safety.

During training, there are multiple groups in the hall at the same time and multiple coaches work there. They participate in the preparation of different teams and cooperate with each other according to their needs and experience.

If a parent wants to know how their child is doing or has any questions about training, we are happy to discuss them outside of the training unit itself.

In the gym, the main space belongs to the children. But parents are an important part of their sports journey.
