Why is athletic gymnastics important?

Gymnastika rozvíjí základní pohybové schopnosti dětí - sílu, vytrvalost, obratnost, rychlost, pocit jistoty a prostorovou  orientaci. Pomáhá vytvářet návyky správného držení těla.  
Gymnastika pomáhá rozvíjet koordinační schopnosti a má velký vliv na dokonalé ovládání pohybového aparátu.
Gymnastika je ideální pohybový základ pro všechny další druhy sportů. Pomáhá rozvíjet celoživotní zájem o pohyb, zlepšuje svalové dysbalance.
Gymnastika je estetický sport, vede děti ke kultivovanému tělesnému projevu.




What do kids need for training?

They need comfortable and breathable clothing for training. A gymnastic jersey, shorts or leggings is the most suitable for girls. Boys only need shorts and a T-shirt.
Exercises and other shoes are not necessary for training, children should have slippers only to get out of the locker room or the way to the toilets.
If they have longer hair, a firm hairstyle (ponytail) is required. A child with longer loose hair cannot exercise safely, so give the children spare rubber bands and clips for each workout.
Drinking is important, children only need clean water, fruit or herbal tea, water
with lemon, etc. Drinking bottles will be stored by children at the entrance to the gym, bandages should be signed or otherwise marked.
The snack is necessary only for longer training sessions. The most suitable for the snack is fruit or vegetables (banana, apple, pepper, etc.), or. wholemeal bread
(in reasonable quantity). Sweet pastries (donuts, croissants, biscuits ...) and sweets are completely inappropriate.

Why shouldn't parents be in training?

The presence of parents during training distracts children. They are unfocused, they tend to run after their parents, there is a risk of injury. The presence of parents often prevents them from establishing contacts with other children, they are less involved in the team.
