The beginning of May belonged to the qualifying competitions for the Czech Republic Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships .
The competition for the promotion places took place at three events – the Maria Široká Memorial in Prague, the Věra Růžičková Memorial in Brno and the Miroslav Kojdecký Memorial in Ostrava .
For our more experienced competitors, the qualifications were primarily a fight for advancement to the national championship. And the result made us very happy – SGC Ostrava won four advancements to the Czech Republic Championship. Emily Radová, Eliška Kalinová, Magda Štiaková and Eliška Kroutilová advanced to the Czech Championship.
But the qualification races are not just about progress. At the Věra Růžičková Memorial in Brno, our younger competitors Nikol, Vali and Ema also experienced the atmosphere of qualification for the first time. For the girls, it was primarily an opportunity to gain their first experience in more demanding competition, to get to know the environment of the qualification race and to find out what they can continue to work on.
And such experiences are an important part of the gymnastic journey - someone is already fighting for the Czech Championship, while another is gathering first experience so that he can fight for it in the coming years. Congratulations to all our competitors on their performances and to Emily, Eliška, Magda and Eliška on advancing to the Czech Championship! ️
