Student Cup - 6.11., Bučovice

Two teams of our girls went to Bučovice. Eva, Ella, Vali, Inna, Sofia and Majda - even though they are still tiny, they are handy.

In the team competition, our team A (Ella, Eva and Vali) won the highest place - 1st place Team B (Majda, Inna and Sofie) took 13th place. Evička also added 2nd place in the singles to the gold from the team competition.

The culmination of the race was the finals on the balance beam, where the six best competitors advanced. Our two gymnasts - Ella and Vali - also made it into the top six. Vali took 2nd place and Ella finished just below the podium, in 4th place. Although Valinka had the same mark as the winner of the final, the overall mark from the doubles match decided on the placement in the end. The girls from team B also deserve praise, although they did not reach the medals, but tried and included new elements in the race. Our Majda (2016) won the prize for the youngest competitor, for whom today's 4-fight was a big premiere - first time quadruple, first time beam, first time skid-turn-subject on parallel bars and the very first jump on the jump.
