Open-air gymnastics – traditional Memorial at Soboňky

The Novotný, Kejře and Bortl Memorial is an integral part of the summer camp in Soboňky. And it is definitely not an ordinary gymnastics competition.

The race takes place outdoors, right in nature – under pine trees and acacias. Instead of the lights of a sports hall, the sky is above the racetrack and the forest surrounds the equipment. It is this backdrop that gives the memorial an atmosphere that we don't experience at regular races.

This year's event took place on July 3, 2026 , and gymnasts from a number of clubs and age categories met again at Soboňky. SGC Ostrava had a large presence this year as well.

In the first category, Valerie Tichá won 2nd place , Sára Šablaturová also competed.

In the second category, Elen Zielonková finished second . She was joined by Ema Tomisová and Hana Bučková .
