The Brno Wheel during the Great Migration

The last weekend in February at SGC Ostrava belonged not only to gymnastics, but also to a big move.

Just as we were gradually moving equipment from small temporary spaces and storage to our new gymnastics hall, Štěpán Kalina and Eduard Starosta set off for the Brno 2026 Round .

The competition took place on February 28th in the Morenda hall in Brno and our youngest boys entered the crowded U9 category.

This time, however, the result was not the most important thing for us. The boys gained further competition experience in competition with almost four dozen gymnasts, and in the meantime, a hall was being prepared at home in Ostrava, where they would have completely different conditions for their next training.

One weekend, two stories - the boys at competitions in Brno and Ostrava, another step towards their own gymnastics home.
